Overview/Background
One of the country’s largest pharmacies and pharmacy benefit managers wanted to improve the adoption and overall UX of its Constellation Ratings Advisor and related service offerings. Constellation provides the ability for partners to maximize an effective star ratings strategy for health plan offerings on healthcare.gov. Our team was tasked with recommending a solution that addressed the following:
1. Improved options around planning strategies to elevate Star Ratings
2. Better visibility into impacts on all medical and pharmacy measures
3. An ability to maximize financial gains for clients, including Quality Bonus payment and Reward Factor
Research
To do this we needed insight into not only customers’ needs and behavior but also into the sales and support teams since internal groups utilize Constellation as well. I organized a week-long workshop that was broken into 3 parts: persona development, user journey mapping, and design ideation. All sessions were conducted with key stakeholders to not only gather crucial information but to align around potential solutions.
